My Watchlist on 05-Feb-07

My Watchlist on 05-Feb-07

Dear friends,

As the market rallies to new heights, I am getting more worried about the next correction.

However, as I have been prudent (hopefully) with my purchases, I do hope to keep invested for the long term. However, the temptation to take profits is high...

why don't you be more transparent and show us your percentage allocation to each stock

Yes, I share your sentiment, the Singpaore Market is breaking new record high due to the good economic indicators as well as the run up to the IR to be open in 2008. Have we reach the stage of Irrational Exuberance? No. Are the stock valuation justifiable? Who would have expected to Nikkei to charge all the way up to 39,000 in 1980 based on sentiment. Don't try to stop a moving train, it will just roll you over. I wouldn't be surprise if the STI hit 5,000 in the year 2008. Any correction would be a good time to collect good solid stocks.

Hi fat88trader,

Thanks for the sharing your experience. :)

I would definitely agree with you about trying to stop the moving train (or short the market, reminds me of the CAO episode...).

May the year of golden pig brings you much gold! :)

Warm regards,
Fu Chin

Hi Anonymous,

Thanks for your kind suggestion.

It is something I would do in the future, when I find time and *courage* to do it...

By the way, would you like to leave your name the next time?

You would then be able to identify yourself (and increase your credibility) to the others readers?

Thanks and warm regards,
Fu Chin

Hi aragon,

I am not invested in HTL, but rather watching it because it seemed to be able to improve its business earnings over the last 5 years. :)

Thanks for the comments.

Warm regards,
Fu Chin

Hi Fu Chin,

What's your view on SP Chem? I am currrently holding some of it. I feel lthat it's an undervalued company, but with low liquidity though
