We think alike atleast on berkshire hathaway.

My comments on brk-b are at http://longtermequity.blogspot.com/

My equity holdings (I have no speculative ones)

lyxor korea etf , STI etf, second chance, food junction, sinwa, brightworld precision and of course brk.b

Dividend yeild and ROE are what i use to make buy decisions, except for brk.b where I use p/book.

Dear anloke,

Thanks for your kind wishes and the comments.

I think you are right, at least partially, that I am speculating.

I did not read enough of the company's historical earnings before I made the purchases. I just took a snapshot of the latest results, which *may* show good fundamentals, e.g. P/E, P/BV, ROE, ROA, etc.

However, the 'snapshot' of the latest results *could* be misleading... so, that is why I say that my purchase is speculative....

Wishing you all your best too, in your investments!

Warm regards,
Fu Chin
